And what it is is I have a figure in my head that we need to do every day. And as long as I feel we’re averaging that number, I feel good. I’m not worried about it.

“When it goes drastically a different way, that’s when I feel like I need to be taking another look at the reports. So it’s kind of a comfort thing, I guess. That’s how I run my business. I never have to worry about every little dollar here or there. I get the report every morning. It’ll quickly tell you something ain’t right.

“It’s wonderful how accurate it is and it’s wonderful how similar every day is. I will go into the TMS and I will see what each truck is generating for the week. Blows my mind how even everything is.

“I could really dig into it deeper than that. It’ll show you the guys that are working and the guys that aren’t. So that’s how I do it. And like I said, I’m not a numbers guy. Never have been. At this point, probably never will be as far as real details. I just keep an eye on it, as long as the money’s rolling in consistently.

“I am also not the technical guy when it comes to using TRAXERO. I know what I know and I don’t care to know much more, but I embrace every bit of technology as long as I don’t have to fool with it. It keeps me happy. Put it that way.”
